Chris was raised in a Pastor's home in Central West Virginia. He graduated in 1991 from Glenville State College with a B.S. in Broadcast Communications. Chris worked for 6 years in radio as an on air announcer. He moved to Lexington, KY in 1992. He worked for 6 years for the Wallace's College Book Company and Wallace's Bookstore's inc. In 1998 he began to serve on the support staff of Ashland Avenue Baptist Church. In 2001 Chris surrendered to full time ministry and enrolled at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Louisville, KY where he recieved a Master's degree in Youth Ministry.
Chris and his wife Christina have three children, Mary, Emily and Jonathan. Chris sees his calling not only to minister to students, but also to the whole church body.
Chris hobbies are, sports, reading, fishing, camping, and collecting LP's from the 60's, 70's and 80's
