NEW HOPE STUDENT MININSTRY
“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” – Matthew 28:18-20
“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.” – Ephesians 4:11-12
Based on Matthew 28:18-20, God has commanded all believers to make disciples in Christ’s authority. Ephesians 4:11-12 gives Christians a clear look of how they are to be involved in the disciple-making process. Discipleship is the ultimate goal of the New Hope Student Ministry. New Hope Student ministry exists to present the gospel to every student, teach dedicated students how to spiritually mature, and train them to reach out and disciple others. Discipleship at New Hope is a three-step, cyclical process.
